Mivos champions a broad range of contemporary music, and collaborates on and premieres new works every season.
Upcoming Works
Mivos Quartet is looking forward to new works in the 2022-2023 season by Alex Mincek for string quartet and guitar (Nadav Lev), Lei Liang, Ambrose Akinmusire (commissioned by ECLAT festival), Andile Khumalo (commissed by ECLAT festival), and a new concert-length work by Sarah Hennies. These new works will be premiered in 2023 and incorporated into the repertoire in the following seasons.
In addition to these works, Mivos is still in a development phase with Jorge Sanchez Chiong and David Bird for new works in the coming seasons.
Ongoing Projects
Mivos Quartet is a part of larger ensembles works with these artists. These projects are all ongoing and continue to be performed internationally.
